Jesse White
"Coach Happy"
Co-Founder, Husky Brothers Baseball & Current DII Hitting/Outfield Coach at San Francisco State University
Jesse White is a passionate and dedicated baseball coach with a rich playing career and a wealth of experience in coaching at various levels. As a first-team All-Conference catcher at Salinas High School, Jesse showcased his talent early on, earning a scholarship. However, he chose to attend Monterey Peninsula College, where he made a significant impact as the captain and starting catcher. Under his leadership, the team achieved its first playoff run and championship title in 41 years, a testament to his skills and determination.
Following his success at Monterey, Jesse received another scholarship to Central Washington University. There, he helped lead the team to a first-place title by defeating Western Oregon University in the conference championship, further solidifying his reputation as a standout player.
Although he had the opportunity to pursue Independent Professional Baseball, Jesse decided to hang up his cleats and embark on a coaching career. He began as the Varsity Hitting and Catching Coach for Palma High School in Salinas, California, where he led the team to three consecutive seasons of first-place finishes while setting the league standard in batting average and offensive production.
Jesse then took on the role of Collegiate Hitting and Catching Coach for the Menlo Park Legends, competing against some of the West Coast's most prestigious collegiate summer programs throughout Northern California.
Currently, Jesse serves as an NCAA Division II Coach at San Francisco State University, where he focuses on coaching hitting and outfield. His commitment to developing young athletes and his extensive knowledge of the game make him an invaluable asset to the baseball community. Jesse's passion for the sport continues to inspire players both on and off the field.
